1. Nature of service
Permitto Property Care provides visual property-care checks and maintenance coordination services. Our property checkups are visual in nature and are intended to identify obvious, visible maintenance concerns.
Our services are NOT:
- A licensed home inspection
- An engineering inspection
- A plumbing inspection
- An electrical inspection
- An HVAC inspection
- A mold or environmental inspection
- Full property management
2. Scope of visual checks
Our property-care checks are visual only. We do not open walls, test electrical systems, conduct pressure tests, or perform invasive inspections. Our reports document visible, observable conditions and are not intended to be exhaustive assessments of hidden or non-visible conditions.
3. Regulated work
Permitto does not perform regulated electrical, plumbing, HVAC, structural, or engineering work unless that work is completed by appropriately licensed professionals. Any trades work coordinated by Permitto is contracted with licensed professionals.
4. Owner approval
No repair work, contractor dispatch, or maintenance coordination will proceed without explicit approval from the property owner. All recommendations are provided for the owner to review and decide upon.
5. Limitation of liability
Permitto Property Care is not liable for any damages, losses, or costs arising from conditions that were not visually observable at the time of the checkup, or from conditions that arose after the checkup was completed. Our liability is limited to the cost of the service performed.
6. Payments
The $99 checkup fee is payable prior to or at the time of service. Monthly plan fees are recurring subscriptions billed monthly through Stripe. Permitto does not store your full card number. All fees are in Canadian dollars. Taxes, if applicable, will be shown on the invoice or checkout summary.
7. Cancellations
Checkup cancellations with less than 24 hours notice may forfeit the booking fee. Monthly plans may be managed or cancelled through the Stripe billing portal link sent to the email used at checkout, or by contacting elliot@permitto.ca.
